In the past, people have always been active, either farming, hunting, etc. In the last few hundred years, more and more people started moved to the cities and stopped being as active, which the body requires for total health.  At the turn of the 20th century, 90% people were farmers. Today, less than 3% people are farmers. People are meant to be active. Without physical activity, the body adapts, physical strength and endurance decreases, energy reserves decrease, the physical body depresses; therefore, increasing the likelihood of becoming mentally depressed. In the old days, the farmer would hoe for hours, putting undue stress on certain body parts which ultimately created muscle imbalances and injuries. He would be active that the body requires, but at such a high cost of time, muscle imbalances, and injuries.

We know more today about achieving total physical health than we have ever know. We know how to get the activity the body requires for total health in a much more efficient and safer manner and quicker.
